This will be led by Dr Miles Russell and is a joint outing with East Dorset Antiquarian Society (EDAS)

The tour start at 10.30am, but we will meet in the farm yard at 10am, as it is approximately a 20 minute walk up to the dig site. We will all walk as one to the area of investigation. For those with mobility issues or concerns, two site vehicles will be taking participants directly to the excavation from the farm yard area between 10 and 10.20. Should you like a lift up from the farmyard please let Karen Brown know karen.brown68@btinternet.com

At the centre of Winterborne Kingston (by the war memorial, village hall and phone box) turn into WEST STREET. A little way out of Winterborne Kingston, take the SECOND turning on the right signposted into the tree-lined drive of NORTH WEST FARM. At the end of the drive / trees, just before the farmyard, there is a gate immediately on your left into the pasture field where cars will be parked. Park there and make your way over to the farmyard.
